What have we been up to? In chronological order … 

• 30 interested parents joined our evening event on 14^th June – Theme Our Future School in a developing Alkmaar – if you missed the event read the review.
• Extra-curricular activities are coming back – fill in the survey. On the 9^th June our coordinator of extra-curricular activities sent a survey out to parents asking for their input regarding their interest in extra-curricular activities. 
• Questions and answer with Director – On the 1^st June we invited you to tell us what your questions are for the director by way of filling in a survey – 26 completed the survey. These questions were shared with you during the event.
• PAC visit with EMA – 5^th May PAC visited EMA in Amsterdam to re-connect and find out how we could support EMA parents better. 
• Wrap up of Euromarkt – Sunday May 7^th Euromarkt took place and we can truly say it was a fabulous event and proved that ESB community teamwork pays off.

Additionally, we represented parents at more educational council meetings with Primary and Secondary directors, raised concerns regarding number of students and language options at the recent school inspection, we joined the Interparents meetings to ensure. 

Canteen: On top of that behind the scenes we are also helping school management with finding a new provider for the canteen. This help included writing to possible canteen service providers to ask them to submit an offer in response to the tender and helping school management assess the organizations responding to tender. We are hopeful of a solution soon - keep your fingers crossed you will hear good news for new school year. Hence we are trying to find a 2^nd volunteer for the canteen committee to join Federica Scotto di Tella our chair of the canteen committee – if you are interested please send us an email.
