Dear Parents,
Between December 2025 and January 2026, the Parents’ Association conducted a survey to understand better how families perceive the school canteen service.
Our goal was simple:
- - Listen to parents and students
- - Identify strengths
- - Highlight areas for improvement
We received responses from both:
- Families currently using the canteen
- Families not using the canteen
This gave us a well-rounded view of the situation.
Overview of Responses
The feedback covers several key areas:
- - Food quality, taste, and variety
- - Pricing and portion sizes
- - Waiting times and organization
- - Hygiene
- - Reasons for not using the service
Outcome
- Using the canteen: 30 responses → 36.14%
- Not using the canteen: 53 responses → 63.86%
- Total responses: 83
“Almost 2 out of 3 families are NOT using the canteen. Only 36.14% of respondents currently use the canteen, while 63.86% do not, indicating a significant opportunity to improve the service and better meet families’ expectations.”
This is important because:
- - It shows there is significant room for improvement
- - It validates the feedback about price, variety, and experience
- - It highlights a big opportunity for the canteen provider
