Dear ESB parents, pupils and teachers and Little Europe friends,

The ESB Parents Association (PA) Events team is delighted to announce the upcoming Euromarkt which takes place on Sunday 7th May 2023 on the school grounds from 11:00 – 16:00.

The Euromarkt is a school community event and a fun day out for all the family. Delicious food (cooked, baked and donated by parents) will be on sale at the many country-themed food market stalls e.g. German, Spanish, Italian, French, Scandinavian. The children can have lots of fun in GameLand with a wide variety of games e.g. bouncy castle, pin the tail on the donkey, puppet show, twister and lots more. Book worms can buy second-hand books in many languages (adults and childrens) at the book fair. You might be lucky and win a prize in the raffle!

Call for additional volunteers, support and ideas

Help us to make this huge event a success. The parent volunteers on the PA Events team need lots of support. Family and work commitments are a challenge for us. Any offers of help, big or small, are very welcome. Many hands make light work!

- table-heads i.e. be the co-ordinator for your country stand

- donations for market stalls: food / drinks / cutlery / plates / cups / flags / decorations

- help selling food and drinks at the stalls

- set up before the event / dismantling after the event

- do you have ideas / equipment for games with the kids?

- are you a face painter?

- do you play an instrument / sing or dance / have a band/ do workshops?

- can you braid hair with coloured threads?

- are you a DJ / happy to run the school DJ system?

- Person to organise the raffle / Prize donations for the raffle

- supervise the games area for an hour or two with other volunteers

- do you have any (unusual) talent you would like to show

- can you organise a soccer or table tennis tournament?

- do you have books to donate?

Kick – off meeting

Bring all your ideas and offers of help to our kick-off meeting in the school aula on Friday 3rd March 09:15 – 10:15. Register HERE so Security know you are coming.
