About the Art History & Architecture Club:
My name is Elizabeth Spreeuw and I am qualified teacher. I studied Art History and Architecture at the University in London. I would like to introduce famous paintings from Renaissance and Impressionism and Gothic Architecture from the Middle Ages. Nowadays, a lot of students go on holiday and visit museums , famous cathedrals and churches. In this club, students will learn about different cathedrals in Italy such as the Duomo, Notre-Dame in Paris, Salisbury cathedral in United Kingdom and many more. This will be an opportunity for students to learn about the Gothic masterpieces and architecture. Students will be able to look at building and paintings with a different eye from now on. This will be a very interactive session with the students. Slides will be provided in the session and teamwork will be emphasised.
