About the drama club
During the drama club we will explore improvisation and role-play techniques, characterization exercises and performance skills. At the end of each term we will develop a new piece of theatre that reflects the creativity of the young participants.
About the instructor
My name is Beth Edwards and after studying for my BA and MA Theatre degrees at Universities in the UK, I went on to work in the theatre world; firstly at Trestle Theatre Company (a company specialising in masked theatre) and then at Polka Theatre, one of London's loveliest theatres for children and young people. During my time there I ran education projects, directed the youth theatre and worked on the professional productions. I also started my own small theatre company and toured shows around the UK and Europe.
I have always been a passionate believer in the power of theatre!
