Description

Students will learn basic Dutch through immersion play/discussion. Each session will be tailored to the age of the children participating.

Dutch for Primary School Children
Our Dutch lessons for primary school children are focused on vocabulary and oral language skills. Everyday conversation topics are practiced according to the child’s experience. Our goal is to teach students the language in the most pleasant and efficient way possible, so they will quickly feel at home in the Netherlands and with the Dutch language. Our method consists of (digital) story plates, stories, language games, work sheets, songs, as well as stage and role plays. Themes that will be discussed are: School, Housing, the Body, Nature, Work and Leisure, Feelings and Parties. The themes are offered at four different levels.

Dutch for Secondary Students
Our Dutch lessons for secondary students are specifically developed for young people with discussions tailored to their age.  After completing the course, the student should be able to speak Dutch regardless of his or her mother tongue using correct grammatical structures and a broad vocabulary.

We reserve the right to cancel ECA courses if enrollment does not meet the minimum registration requirements.
