Description

About Drama club:

Throughout the course we endeavor to build the student’s confidence as we work towards a final showing at the end of the year. Therefore, our 1st Trimester will include fun acting and dance skills while we get to know each other, our strengths and where we are all most comfortable within a performance space. From there we will ascertain what sort of performers we all are and going forward to the 2nd trimester, we will start to exercise more character study and how to navigate the stage. As we approach the end of the 2nd trimester we will have a show decided upon. The children will express desire for what roles they would like to choose (whether this be a devised or scripted piece) and going forward to the 3rd trimester, we will rehearse the show ready for the final performance at the end of the year. This will very much be lead by the students and they will be heavily involved with the creative process.
