Join us for the annual Euromarkt on Sunday, 7th May from 11.00.-16.00 at the European School in Bergen!

This flagship event will include many of the same beloved activities and food stalls from previous years. We’re also planning some new activities this year that you won’t want to miss!

Kids and parents alike will enjoy games, a tombola, and culinary home cooking from several countries around the world. Purchase books, dvds and video games from around the world at our world book market. Enjoy music music featuring Battle of the Bands winners.

Come to the Timmerdorp and create something from wood. Or, enjoy several games & activities at Gameland including a ring toss, face painting, arts & crafts, puppet show,  stroopwaffles, and much, much more.

About Euromarkt
The Euromarkt is a Parents´Association fundraiser that has been in existence for more than 25 years. The market typically attracts more than 600 visitors throughout the day. The school is open to the community and teachers, students, parents, staff and friends share different cultural activities and food while raising funds for the school. Money raised at the event is invested in our school for things like school trips, school events, school equipment, and more.

Whether you are from Bergen- or as far as Amsterdam, Haarlem, or Den Haag – join us for a global culinary exposition including treasures from Spain, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Scandavia and America.

The Parents’ Association is proud to have provided financial assistance for travel and lodging to students attending the Model European Council in Strasbourg in March. Ten students participated and it took place in the prestigious buildings of the Council of Europe.

The participating students represented Austria and Belgium as minsters during council sessions dedicated to amending draft legislation. There was also a student from our school who participated in the first MEC Media Team. Students heard from key note speaker Nadia Murad, current holder of the Sakharov Prize, and survivor of the IS Yazidi genocide. Students also were taken on a walking tour of Strasbourg, participated in urgent debates and press conferences and met students from other schools throughout Europe.

The Parents’ Association is proud to help students at the school with experiences that enhance their global learning experience.
